It was the risk of it but it didn’t happen to me. Didn’t want to take the risk with warranty expiring. Plus I was offered more than what I paid so it was easy choice. So for my 4 years of ownership it was trouble free.
I’ve owned 4 cars with that engine, and I pussied out with every one after 3 or so years for fear of it blowing. But it never happened to any one of em.
