West Edmonton Mall shooting?
WEM is on lockdown, apparently multiple reports of a shooting but nothing confirmed by EPS yet.

Friend is in the mall right now. Shooter killed 2 people then ran into the mall but 2 dead not confirmed. 3 people injured for sure.

If I'm not mistaken, the vast majority of shooting incidents in Canada are due to gang violence, whereas in the USA, guns are commonly used to back up virtually any crime - from burglary to homicide. It's unnerving when incidents like this happen in public places, though luckily the target is rarely innocent. I'm more concerned about stray bullets, etc. It seems there is a death every couple of years in Toronto alone for those being caught in crossfire.
