Childcare is the worst part of having kids. The older I get, the more I see very good value in having one parent stay home full time.

In a multi-kid home, this is particularly true. The costs are astronomical, and I think it's better for a child to be around their parents to bond opposed to sending them off with others anyway.

My wife and I only had 1, but if we had 2, there was a real question as to whether us both working was advantageous.

These ambulance chasers have really added a whole level of complications. We got our fancy recind letters from AHS which they emailed us a few hours after they called us (which only happened because my wife opened a ticket through health link). They were very insistent we understood that this was a legal document we must have with us and when we do return to daycare we would have a "legal questionaire to answer". I assume it will just be confirming we don't have any symptoms and understand lying is an offence. However, in their added level of stupidness now the recind letter alone isn't good enough for the kids to return to daycare, we also have to be on the list they provide the daycare which they left us off of yesterday. So another day at camp grandma for the kids.

Bumble fuck is the only way I can describe how AHS has handled this.

Honestly if they need a special list from AHS anyway why do we bother with having to talk to some mouth breather from AHS and get a letter from them.
