Yeah, it's super weird. I was convinced that it wasn't contagious due to the primary mode of transmission and now I can see how it might/likely flourish among those who scratch their ring pieces in that age group. I guess I should've realized that, but it escaped me at the time.
This is a serious mess.
I really hope none of our folks are negatively impacted beyond a simple stomach flu situation. It reminds me of accidentally drinking shit-water at our cottage last year. Sure, it's just a mild inconvenience of blowies for me, but when you consider it could be fatal for the age my kids are, it's a different story. I obviously hope everyone is ok.

Reading between the lines above, sounds like parents were sending their E. coli positive kids to other daycares, causing new outbreaks and those daycares to be closed.

Our peasant daycare (no food) had a positive case "from another location" so the main daycare room is closed for 2+ weeks. Luckily (for now) the toddler room is still up and running but I'm sure the plug is about to be pulled.
