the framer didn’t question that? Or am I missing some new building code since I built my old garage in ‘18..

Mega jealous though. Going to be primo, and sturdy as a mother fucker haha
Nah, I asked the same thing, as did the inspector lol I think when the drawings were done and sent in, it automatically double studded it, maybe because of the size? im pretty sure that's what happened, but no, I'm positive it's not necessary.

Weird. I have 16' walls with 24" on center 2x6 on a 30ft long wall. They did spec plywood over OSB for sheeting, but I definitely don't have double studs.

Did the designs maybe call for staggered double stud wall so you can have better insulation?

Wasn't it because the trusses were not centred on the studs, so they had to double them up to account for the trusses landing between the studs?

No to all. Literally the guy who did the design, did it through the home depot app and I believe that the home depot app automatically posted double studs and he went with it.

I'm pretty sure that how it went, I could be wrong, but wither way it's double studded and won't blow over, that's all I know lol

OSB was my choice, wasn't part of any package, actually most of this wasn't part of an actual package and was sourced individually.

Those storage sets are Mastercraft, not Mastercraft Maximum and I am only asking because I want to make sure they didn't give you the wrong items as the sale the week I purchased them was on the Maximum ones.

Both are awesome. I just don't want you to unpack everything and then worry about an awkward return if they fucked something up.

Hmmm I dunno, they're all the right part numbers from the sale that I found, so quite possibly a different sale.

Ya I have a lift actually I'm unsure if I'm gonna do it right away though. Next week I'm going to install the rest of the shelves there and the rest of the walls, then the hoist is going in.

Still not quite cleaned up, but cleaned up enough for today's hoist delivery.

It was such a good idea to keep that back part of the original garage.

I agree. However, the driver side of the impala I still have 9 feet of room, 3 feet behind and about 6 feet ahead of the car, so its not terrible as far as room goes....until I put the other impala in there lol

Not completely done but I think this should be one of the last pics I take for a while. It's come a long way and I'm excited to see it like this. Just a bit more to go.

I have a solution for your dog shit problem. At least for the section by your house.

    Concrete everywhere. Maximum parking space
