It's a huge PITA for us, and a minor PITA for me (I have a 10 year Visa that at times becomes invalid between Canada-India fights). This is the 2nd time it's happened recently, we missed a work trip last year because India was retaliating against Canada blocking India visas due to India's shitty handling of COVID and blocked existing and new visa entries, so OCI people only allowed into India. So yea it's happened before haha.

I dislike Trudeau as much as the next guy, but if this is true it’s pretty fucked up. Would people prefer our PM (as shitty as he is for us domestically) just turn a blind eye when there are credible allegations like this? Makes you wonder what Harper or Poilevre would have done if they were PM.

I just think people are naive if they don't think that major powers will target people domestically and abroad when they feel its warranted, and that "thoughts and prayers" etc really don't mean fuck all when push comes to shove.
