The u of a issue actually happened 8 or 9 days ago... it just finally made the rounds in the last 24 hours. U of a is playing this off like they've taken a hard stance but they need to come off their high horse as they ignored it for as long as they did.

They only acted as it made international news.

It would be terribly awkward, but admirable, if they had blanket free speech policies that they applied without editorializing.
