Question Glenmore & McLeod Sat night

Anyone know what happend? I was driving home from the bar and saw nothing but red and blue lights. It was on the underpass for Glenmore Trail. I couldn't really stop and look but there was a few fire trucks, EMS and about 10-15 cop cars. They had the flares out and everything. The whole area smelt like gas.
Hope none of you were involved and if you were, hope everyone's okay.

The accident must have happened around midnight-ish, because when I drove by it was 12:20.

But yeah- I did notice a lot of extra traffic out tonight

    Just found this out:

A very serious, single vehicle crash occurred on the off ramp
from Glenmore Trail westbound to Macleod Trail at 2342 hrs
this evening. An EMS Paramedic Unit witnessed the crash while
they were on an emergency transport to hospital with a
patient. The car crashed into a pole trapping the 2
occupants. A male, approximately 20 years of age, was found
unconscious in critical, life-threatening condition suffering
from head and chest injuries. The second patient, also male,
about 28 years of age, suffered critical, life-threatening
injuries to his chest, head and abdomen. Following
extrication by firefighters both victims were transported to
    Foothills Hospital.

    Update:

An update on the 2 victims from the Glenmore Trail / Macleod
Trail single vehicle crash this evening: a 44 year old male
has died at hospital and a 31 year old male is in critical
condition with head, neck, chest and abdominal injuries.

I drove past that, when they had the people already out.... The car was litterally torn in half around the pole..... They must have been doin a 100+ when they hit it atleast, the whole car was sandwiched into a big crumple.

update today, i was watching the news, and the surviving guy was released from the hospital today, and he was charged with a bunch of different stuff:

    dui
    neglegence causing death
some other stuff i can't remember...

to be honest, i don't feel the least bit sorry for this guy, he deserves whatever is given to him

I was at Denny's about 1-1:30am, leaving heading north. Couldn't even go over Glenmore, detour onto Glemore east. I was wondering what was happening.

Upload to imagestation and host it from there..... or find someone who is willing to host it then send it to them, and they can host. I'd do it but I don't have my webspace anymore.
