Just reading more into this and in the eyes of the NHL, the Coyotes aren't getting relocated; Utah is a new team that bought the Coyotes assets and liabilities (players, prospects, draft picks, staff, etc). The Coyotes franchise has been made inactive and the owner has 5 years to get a stadium built, after which the franchise will be reactivated and its history is transferred to the new team.

Is it more fun to cheer for chaos? If so, you'd want Vegas to do well so more people incorrectly claim they are breaking cap rules. Plus you'd want toronto to lose in the first round. And cheering for Vancouver riots.

Or do you cheer as a Canadian and hope that all four Canadian teams win in the first round? Four of eight team in 2nd round being Canadian would be incredible.

I have news for you, sports in general, don't matter. So we invent arbitrary associations with certain teams to trick our brains into releasing dopamine when they win. In that regard, it's smart to cheer for multiple teams.
