The official position is he’s day to day and may miss the game tonight against Vegas. Doesn’t sound like a life altering, career ending injury to me. Sounds like a bad hangnail or accidentally sat on his own ball, type of injury.

I heard he looked at the sun during the eclipse the other day... timing checks out.

Huh, playing mcJ 22 minutes a night not sustainable? Weird.

Edit, it's twenty one and a half minutes, I was wrong...

I don't know or care, but I found the ESPN site to be fairly friendly to look up this season's TOI.
    21.5min simply isn't a lot. Drew Doughty plays 25+ min/game and he's significantly older.
Yes, top D-men play more minutes than top forwards but this year, McKinnon, Rantanen and Nichuskin all play more minutes than McDavid and Colorado has a recent cup, so it's tough to argue that what they're doing is bad.

Curious how Utah would do in supporting an NHL team...

Mars would be more viable than their situation currently is (or ever has been).

Anyone getting playoff tickets for the oilers? There's some good seats sitting at the moment..

    A bit pricey tho.

Lower bowl tickets are sitting for games 01 and 02 as they are $700 to $750 a ticket. I've sat row one behind players bench and row 01 beside penalty box. Have had amazing seats at half the cost in previous years. Prices are ridiculous this year.

Edmonton is full of degenerate gamblers.

Edmonton enjoys gambling. Once they glob onto something, they are all in. Look at how many Garth Brooks concerts they hosted a few years ago in comparison with Calgary.
    They know what they want.

It can be bought online and is province wide. Basically the unofficial Alberta lottery at this point.

A very long time ago Mario and I had an argument about expected value vs total payout for lotteries. 50/50 draws are neat because they are the same.

People are still bad at math, and lotteries are still a bad deal, but hey, why not you?

Canucks clinch division with an outside chance to take the conference. Completely unexpected considering they were projected to finish near the bottom at the start of the year. Any wins going forward are a bonus, not expecting a DEEP run but anything can happen in this league.

A hot goalie wins the cup. Just sayin.
