People are asking that for used 518s, seriously? I can see a big-block 727 being tough but 518s are a dime a dozen! I have three kicking around! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well I finally was able to get the shop finished enough to get the hoist in, setup and the impala on it today thanks to some good friends of mine and my father in law. Pretty big milestone for me in my life honestly.
Got it up and because this thing has had hydraulics on it from before, there was alot of banging around on it and the frame has some pretty nasty dents and some shitty boxing repairs that ill have to redo, won't be hard, I am a welder lol no pics of that quite yet, but here's a few from today.
Yikes lol
I tore some ligaments/tendons in my foot over a month ago that isnt anywhere close to healed, so all i could really do was clean things out, friend of mine pulled the seats for me lol this is me wondering wtf I got myself into lol
Got the LS on the stand. I did go with a rebuilt 4L60 with 20k on it, the LS has 140k on it. Going to pull all the wiring off of it and get an LS harness and throw it on the block and see how it sounds when it starts, hopefully this week sometime.
Stay tuned, now I'm going to be digging real deep into this fucking thing lol
Lots of work ahead but it'll be awesome when you get to the other side of it.
What lift did you go with?
Its from Canadian Auto Equipment. Just a basic 8000lb. Wasn't too difficult to put together, saved me a couple grand. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I love everything about this, fond memories of reading lowrider magazine while eating 3d doritos

It's a parts car. The frame is done on it, body is terrible, but the interior had been redone and all of the 2 pump hydraulic setup is in and working.
One day I'll start to do things lol too many other home projects still ongoing
