what happens? mines been in the dishwasher many times - still works good
IIRC All Clad had a big class action lawsuit because dishwasher chemicals cause the inner layers to rust and get sharp, so people were cutting themselves where the layers are exposed on the edge. I think it was the D5's. I looked at mine and sure enough the edge is a little bit scratchy but not enough to matter.

The solution....they just don't advertise them as dishwasher safe anymore.

So far the 75” frame has gone up in price. Oof
In Sept there was a small window where the 85 could be had from Costco for $2500 for your pricing reference.

Looking for a new phone. Iphone 14 Pro Max would be great since the 15 is out now, but I don't think that's how Apple works haha. Costco was getting rid of their stock last month for a decent deal, but I found out about it too late.

Any deals on phone plans? Own my old ass iPhone outright and I’m paying Roger’s way too much for my plan imo.

Also looking for an oil cooler for my Miata, extended lower ball joints, and a Simpson Hybrid S HANS if anyone sees anything.

This year's TV BF happened during back to school.

Now I'm regretting not picking up an 77" OLED for $3K.

Telus EPP. I assume you work for yourself so probably won’t be able to look up your company, but I think you can be referred. Dm me with your email if you want and I can try it. Gets us each a $50 credit

On a related note, there’s a pretty good deal for petro points redemptions right now. 50% back on any redemptions. I had about 40k in points so got $40 worth of Tim’s gift cards and they’ll give me back 20k points in a couple of weeks. Car wash passes are pretty good value too, I think 50k points for 5 washes, then $25 in points back. Works out to $5 each.

Also worth checking out rogers red wireless EPP if your company is eligible. $40 for 65gb can-US BYOP or 100gb can-US for $50:

Interesting they are now differentiating max speeds on 5G either 250mbps or up to 1gbps

Don’t think this one allows referrals unfortunately and apparently they actually validate employment with pay stubs

5G SA (stand-alone) was finally launched a few months back so 1gbps+ is possible, before '5G' was NSA (non-stand alone) which meant it used the 5G radio but the LTE core. Which is why people got shit for battery life and worse connections as the phone had to connect to both networks for everything. With SA it's all 5g so faster performance and in theory better battery life now.
