    Second the pita comment.
I think the pros take up more soil to get the saw in there.
What saw and blade did you use? I think you can rent a concrete saw.
Used a hand held concrete saw with diamond blade. The issue is its only a 16 inch blade....the pros use one that bolts to the foundation and actually cuts all the way through.

Love it, can you tell me where you ordered your materials?
Imported a hole bunch of the Blatic Birch a few years ago.

    Ditto.

My master bath is literally identical to what yours looked like at the start. What would you charge for a bathroom reno like that?

Booked right up for about 6 months so not looking to take on any more projects at the moment, but open to discussion for longer term plans.
I mainly focus on wood work for client jobs, ended up doing my entire bathroom from start to finish as a passion project, not really sure what I'd charge for something like that as I wouldn't typically take on a job like that for a client.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Does it have to be the great big projects? Sometimes the little ones are just as satisfying.

Awhile back I decided I was tired of all the crap behind my laptop on my WFH setup. Telus modem, my router, my NAS, miscellaneous cables/cords.

So I found a spare piece of wood, screwed it to the wall, and then 3D printed a bunch of custom mounts and cable clips to move everything off the desk and tidy up.

Not like a bathroom reno, but so satisfying!

Quite likely. I got it in 2005 because I could customize it in sections to wrap around the left corner of the room. It's been solid for nearly 20yrs.

Nice!! That wall mural looks great and professional.
If you taped it, did a great job. Sucks because taping is a x2 job. Gotta tape both sides of the line after one side dries.
Did this once and took a lot longer than I envisioned.

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Yeah she taped it all and we had to wait in between drying to do the other mountains!

Hogwarts themed and will be adding some lord of the rings somewhere as well! She's hella talented.
