Default Post your DIY home projects BEFORE/AFTER photos

Thought it'd be cool for us DIYers to post before and after photos of projects we've done around the house.
It'll also open up the conversation if anybody needs any advice on their ongoing projects.

    I'll start...

Our master bathroom in our very average house.
Everything is 100% custom, vanity started off from raw lumbar, it's Douglas Fir from BC that we had drying in storage for about 15 years.
Inside of the cabinets are made out of Baltic Birch plywood from Russia, all hardware is Blum Tip On.

With the shower I'm particularly proud of the "zero" slope base we cut into the floor, as well as how the glass perfectly follow the grout line on the floor.

Currently doing the entire interior of the house so I will have other photos to share in the coming month or two:

Technically yes, however wife is due with our first child Dec 31st, I gutted the house in July, trying to get it all finished before baby comes.
Would be available at some point next year as we have a lot of other projects lined up already.

This is a smaller reno that we did a year back

-Redid the backsplash tile and the hood fan and changed hardware to black

We're in the process of changing up our fireplace setup to something a little more modern

-Removing the massive mantle and shelving
-Adding a faux chimney to mount the Frame TV
-Adding cabinets along the side for storage
-Changing the tile around the fireplace

That's a big improvement, the old tile clashed with the granite. Well done

Sadly I've heard the sun has 5 billion years until it turns nova, therefore I have time to finish projects.

@Ukyo8 that shower looks amazing, great work!
@T-Dubbs nice backsplash upgrade, herringbone is a tricky pattern to get right, looks great.

A few years ago, added a window to the basement bedroom. Never again. Did it all without water to keep the dust down because I did t want to take up the carpet or do more drywall repair than th minimum. Holding the concrete saw in all the dust SUCKED all by myself.
Will get some completed pics tomorrow. Funny I don't have any

Don't have any before photos for this one, but it was basically just the standard god awful accordion closet doors with a bunch of drywall around them that home builders typically put in non master bedrooms.

Built a full custom built in closet, all with Blum Tip-On hardware so no handles are necessary, pretty happy with how it turned out.

How much did that end up costing if you don't mind?

That looks great. Did you buy pre made cabinets or build your own?

We just built something similar for a client of ours it came in around $8,000 all in.

Everything we do is 100% custom, cabinets themselves are made out of Baltic birch, all the hardware we use is top of line Austrian Blum products.

    Here are some photos:
