I've had a mini fridge for a night stand for 20+ years, never going back.

New LG French door is good. However, we have a little brain teaser here. The door seems to really attract dust, and is dirty within 12h of wiping it down.
Half my household says there's some plastic film left on that needs to be removed. The other half says that film is "permanent" and can't be removed.

Pics for reference where it's cut out around handles and logo.

Remove and immediately coat with a wax or polymer to seal and buff to a shine.
    Profit.
It's not a permanent fix, but a modern fridge isn't a permanent appliance either.

I believe it's a anti-finger print film and it's your choice to remove or not.

Do you prefer dust or fingerprints?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Stainless nearly always comes with an end-user removable covering to protect the finish. Seeing how wide the film has been trimmed around the handles and logo I would definitely try peeling it on an inconspicuous corner. If it’s meant to be permanent it will leave glue behind and not come off like static film. Temporary film you can dig your fingernail into fairly easy, but typically it’s tinted or a solid colour.

I start peeling the corners of my asian co-worker’s screen protectors on his 20 yr old Fluke meters when I work with him. Makes him irate, love it.
