    Default vtec bog on b20/vtec

    hey everyone i just finished installing a crv-tec motor into my 1998 civic h/b starts fine, idles lower than average but the biggest plroblem i have is that when it kicks into vtec it really bogs and does not move like it should. kidna sounds like a distorted sound from a blown speaker! lol anyways any tips or help would be appreciated!

    You'll need to tune that bitch! What ECU are you using? A lot of guys use ECU's from stock cars, maps that are totally not designed for the cr-vtec (obviously) and run into drivability and power issues like you described.
