Side note: Delhi hit 52.3 Celsius, and summer hasn't even really started yet.
I'm no expert, but that seems pretty hot for a Deli.
Wouldn't all of the meat spoil?

Burnco (or whatever they are now) used to sell it, not sure if they carry them anymore. This is the manufacturer though, so look around for it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

He's being artistic. I assume he picked that up immediately after the photo was taken, drained the glass and refilled it before any substantial heating could occur.
Direct Landscape in Caresland appears to sell that firepit. If you like concrete/brick fireplaces, that seems like a good one. Could probably work out some air intake ports below the bottom course of bricks too if you were crafty.

Those bricks stay stone cold even with a much larger fire than I had that night. Also fireside beers don't last long enough to get warm. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I actually did something like that. I didn't buy the entire kit with the liner, but sourced two slightly smaller liners, turned one upside down, and bolted them together with spacers. If you notice the one in the photo is floating above the bricks, because that's the air intake with about 1/2" of space between the top, and 1" in between the liners the entire way around the pit, and the entire side of the bricks is still protected from direct fire. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Now you got me thinking about this. Maybe DIY something for the inlaws cabin. an air intake would reduce smoke quite a bit.
