Had some lightning going on at 4am while snowing.

The highway coming into Calgary from the south is fucked and the blizzard ramped up hard in the last 30 mins. There were 4 cars in the ditch within 3km of eachother and you couldn't tell were the road starts or ends so I said fucked it and turned around. Was definitely a 4x4 or awd morning. Co-workers who live around downtown or on the north side said everything was fine up there though, little bit of slush thats it. We've gotten another inch since my picture I posted.

I'm not sure where your buddy is, but I'm central-south and there was zero issues at 7am.
