There were more people on Reddit complaining about the ucp and comparing us to Texas than there were people turning off their lights.

Watching the reddit meltdown was awesome. So many pictures of downtown Calgary and people bitching about office buildings and schools not shutting of lights, and how industry doesn't have to do shit because big oil. Something about "thanks to the UCP its all back on us to do something".

My buddy was outside grabbing something from his truck a few minutes after the alert and someone drove by and yelled at him to "turn your fucking lights off you retard" refering to his house lights.
