Road were fine yesterday morning... last night they were SHIT. Even on winters + AWD. Slow plow doing their best to turn intersections into skating rinks.

But studded tires on fancy garage floors are a no go in my books.

I think being partially/fully covered in snow makes them a little less productive.

Most modern panels still produce power even partially covered.

Only thing studs helped with today is more consistent drifting. These PA5s are killer, the PA4s dropped off a lot in anything colder than -20C.

FFS there’s been a grader cleaning the road infront of my house for like 40 minutes… who the fuck does the city hire to do this shit. I’m not exaggerating when I say he’s been scraping the same 200’ stretch of road the whole time?? What the fuck are they doing.

If studs offer no improvement today, you most definitely don’t have enough of them. On my off-road machine I can corner so hard on flat polished ice that it lifts the inside tire off the ground.

Haha they did that at my last house too. Drove my wife nuts since she was constantly stressed about it waking the kids up.

Good god. Just dropped the wife off at work and truck felt like it was some 1980s box GMC truck with how stiff everything is. My SUV froze yesterday and had to get a new battery for it. Finally found the blockheater plug on it tucked away by the firewall... All vehicles plugged in and hardly any moving unless necessary.

My heated steering wheel and seats were the winner today. Winters on, new battery installed, all oils changed (tranny, diffs, transfer and oil).

My shit is tight. Everyone else should really get the fuck outta my way.

This weather is making me consider changing my 8 year old OEM battery. Never had any issues but its been a garage princess so she's never really been tested in real fuck you weather
