Just wondering if there's been any changes to the booking systems?

Is it still 3 months ahead for Alberta provincial sites? 4 months for BC, and 3 months for Federal?

Everyone I know has basically stopped trying to get reservations for Pacific Rim - Green Point campground. Amazing place, but such a shitshow to get a spot. I think it's tour operators booking 90% of the sites.

I'm going to see about getting into Jasper this year.

I think a single-day opening is a bad idea to start with. The rolling window spreads out the problems, and creates a setup where people are cancelling sites all season, which means new sites are opening all through the season.

Managed to get all of the Federal (Banff) back country sites we wanted this year. Wife somehow ended up as #2XX in line on Monday morning.

The Feds do have a moderately onerous system of making an account that is intended to cut down on that. I suspect the tour operators and scalpers have a system to get around that.
