Also, that water goes somewhere when it melts.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

The ice itself also has a nasty habit of stripping paint and literally pulling the window apart from the inside

sitting at 26% right now, no condensation, i’ve mentioned it before but if anyone has the humidifier wired to the ecobee, humidibee works great.

Yea... that window that cracked was the slider portion that actually accumulates very little ice built up. And we don't get a ton of ice build up as we run our HRV and exhaust fans.

The biggest risk of ice on windows is when it melts it will fuck up the MDF casing and trims.

We're sitting at just under 20% and nearly no ice on the windows unless we leave the closed cell blinds closed on a certain window.

I hate living in this climate.

edit: just under 20%, not 30%. I turned the whole house humidifier on a bit, we'll see what this does for the windows.

10% here, frost free windows, and no batwings regardless of what I wear below the belt. Still enjoying wool socks and borderline electrocuting the wife, she's starting to get into it though, we'll see how this unfolds.

Didn't someone early in this thread talk about building up a Hahdōken!! from static socks on carpet?

Yes, almost certainly you, but it was inspired by my Blanka remark, much more...shocking. Either way, always fun to relive the classics.

No, I'm sure it wasn't me. Now I have to go look for it with my shitty searching techniques.

It was YOU @Swank ! From literally 5 years ago. In a thread only slightly different from this one.
How do I apply to make more money due to creepy memory power?!?

12% - I'm going to put on wool socks and run around on the carpet to see if I can finally create a Hadouken. We just have a humidifier in the bedroom, that seems to suit our needs just fine plus the white noise sound helps with sleep as much as the comfort of the humidity. No frost on the windows but they are fairly new (~4 years old), they insulate incredibly well.
