I took my pregnant wife to Tofino in November (Pacific Sands for the long weekend).
its fairly close and it was quite relaxing.
Wife wasnt up for a whole lot of activities, but we found great food, and enjoyed some great views.

    Highly recommended

Just found some hotels for 2 weekends for between 190 - 600 (Banff Springs) a night. Rimrock was 300ish.

As Banff Springs pricing continues to go parabolic, they always seem to put additional hotels up so there should be lots of room.
Lucky me, we have to go there for my daughters dance comp in May and its costing me $2500 for 3 nights at some Moose hotel. Were stuck there because all her friends are staying there too.

Tofino end of Jan is not a place I would associate with warm. The views there are amazing but its gotta be nothing but rain and pretty cold temps this time of year.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

yeah, we went during the start of the storm season. My wife wasnt feeling too well at the time, so it worked out well for us.

Its not a sun vacation by any means, it was meant as a relaxing distraction.

In the same boat. If not pregnant our options would have bee Peru, Vietnam or Croatia. We are now doing PV Mexico since she wanted somewhere warm and flights are not too long (<5 hours).

The irony in calling me a pervert If you think its ok to watch 17 year olds on a stripper pole thats your choice at the end of the day.

I hope you know I'm kidding about the entire thing.

I share your pain with the OOT competitions, I spent like $8K last year on them.

As long as you're not giving her pop the ROI should work out.
