Nooice. Did you buy new battery boxes, trays or disconnects? I enjoy that stuff more than I should.

Headed down to waterton next weekend to do some hiking. Any recommendations for food / pubs in town worth checking out or trails while we’re down there?

Hauled the trailer in last week to start repairs
Manual jack that had been on since 1974 snapped its gearing on our last trip, so I finally got around to replacing it with an electric one I got on a clearance deal from the Princess
Knew there were a couple roof leaks and gave them a bit of a running repair while we were out, didn't really hold so I have a piece of paneling to replace near one of the vents and more sealing to do on the back window
Some more painting of the interior panels that used to be 70s brown, laying down some cheap ass lino/laminate to cover the 70s floor pattern then we can hit the road with it again
Only into it for about $3000 including purchase at this point, so if I can get this summer and maybe next at an absolute push out of it, I'll be happy and will have the Line of Credit paid off, perhaps able to take on a payment for something newer
Installed a Shady Boy awning on the Trillium. Had a nice little get away to Kinbrook Island a couple weeks ago, decent little spot especially if your into birds.
Given the choice of Sibbald lake or Etherington, which is more quiet/private sites? Sibbald doesn't seem to have any lot pics, so I can't tell.

Sibbald is a more sparse dry pine forest, and Etherington is more dense and spaced out. Or that's my recollection, it's been a while.

Etherington would be quieter, further from the city, slightly longer gravel road.. go an extra ten minutes to cataract and it’ll be even quieter
That's what I was considering. Book Etherington, but drive through Cataract to see if anything is available firstThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Other than the long weekend, it’s usually pretty much dead out there

You can drive up and get a site most weekends. Lovely spot, good hikes down the creek to the waterfalls

We go to Etherington pretty regularly, really like that spot and it never seems to be busy. Sites are reasonably private, forest is medium density. Short drive to Cataract if you want to hike the falls. We're doing Sibbald this year instead though as it's been a few years.
Also, real bummer that they banned outside non-motorized watercraft from Waterton. We were planning to do some kayaking there this year.
