Apparently the teachers get in trouble if they don't follow them, whatever that means.
Absolutely not. There is no accountability for that process.

And here what I understood is IPP’s were just a method to get extra funding from the school board, and crafty principals just put every kid in the school on them to maximize the slush funding with no obligation to direct those funds to helping the students in question.
Absolutely this. If the funding is enough to bring in ed assistants, they don't even have to be in the same room as the student who receives the funding. Anywhere in the building is fine.

It's a disastrously broken system. This all reminds me, I should check in on the application to private school.

I have been told that IPPs do not add additional funding.

Inclusive placement probably does more harm than good, but suggesting otherwise is politically incorrect. Of course, high schools now "cohort" students starting in grade 10, which of course is not segregation at all.

Threads like this make me feel a lot better about paying the bill for private school. It still hurts to write the cheque every year, but my kindergarten daughter has 2 teachers and 4 assistants taking care of her class. And we have great access to the teacher and a solid feedback loop on how things are going.

Graduates from certain private prep schools don't fare very well in post-secondary, according to my friend that is a dean.

Wait until you see how many public school students don’t even make it to post secondary lol

How is that relevant, unless your kid is stupid, at which point being in a private school isn't going to help anyhow.

Some kids are never going to make it, at least private school gets them in the door

Another significant benefit of the school we chose is keeping them away from woke policy changes.

If my kid wants to go to public school and be a part of genpop when they get to late jr high/high school, I'll absolutely encourage it. But at least for the early years, I want to make sure they have great support if they need it, and reduce the chance they get brainwashed with whatever woke garbage is popular in a given week.

630ched had a reporter on just now. They sent reporters to a few schools. Reporter said he was at 3 large schools and he saw no protest.

Shayne ganam seems surprised and confused. He doesn't get how the media painted this massive school walkout wouldn't be supported by the kids.

Another reporter said she saw one school with a small protest but kids counter protested it as well.

Poilievre comes out and says he's against puberty blockers for those under 18. I swear the federal conservatives just love to make it easy to be divisive and make the left leaners move left.
It's not like he was going to lose conservative votes by just avoiding the topic and keeping to the 'province deals with provincial things'.

These voters with their mental illnesses will support Trudeau no matter what, so PP doesn't have to pander to them.

That's because there are still a lot of left leaners that also do not agree with puberty blockers. The fact is that while many people are decidedly left or right no matter what the issues of the day are, an incredible amount of people are very centrist overall that can swing one direction or the other, and that is where you can capture extra votes. I would venture to say that more people are against altering children than there are people okay with it, so this is a smart move on his part IMHO.

Hormone therapy for kids who want to transition into a boy or girl.

Essentially, block testosterone in boys wanting to be a girl, block estrogen in girls wanting to be a boy.

    Seems akin to self-mutilation

You'd seriously fuck up your adult development by taking something like this. Probably would result in some interesting mental development and mental health impacts as well.
