Some random unconnected thoughts because I don't give a full shit about this one way or the other, and whatever is decided, I hope it's the option where I don't have to actually put any effort in.

1. This is how a lot of people sound when talking about this.



2. One thing I find interesting is that people talk about boys wearing dresses and taking girl's names, and having surgeries to remove equipment. It's rare that anyone says anything negative about girls wanting to become boys. Everybody knew a tomboy in school and nobody bats an eye at that.

3. It's funny to me that conservatives don't want other people raising their kids. They want to have the right to raise their kids how they want them to be raised, so they want to come up with rules like this that apply to other parents and their kids as well. I would have thought staying in your lane was a conservative value but it sure isn't. "yEaH bUt lIBeraLS WAnT" shut up, I don't care what liberals want.

4. I don't think this is a government issue anyway. Homeschool your kids if you think they could be talked into gender fluidity against their will. Requiring government intervention for every little thing seems like a very liberal approach to a problem that probably barely exists.

5. People leading the charge here are some of the same people who did and apparently still currently believe there are litter boxes in schools. That should be reason enough to consider whether you're being given the correct information.

lol, when my daughter was like 12, it was election year, they did a mock election in class, the teacher provided profiles of each of the parties, their values, a brief writeup of the platforms, i asked her what the results were..... unsurprisingly 100% of the kids voted conservative.

So instead of crying about it, we had an adult conversation about how the information you're given can be misleading and how the teacher clearly had provided information to get a desired result (grooming, if you will), and then we reviewed some factual platform information (some yes, were clearly cherry picked on things i knew she was passionate about that i knew she would not agree with the conservative policy on, but her teacher, knowing this, clearly intentionally omitted), and she learned another very valuable lesson about getting information from multiple sources to draw your own conclusion.


But yeah, clealry left wing education system.
