I'm making all the wrong moves in GridRival, signed Alonso for 5 races 2 races ago.
Nice to see a mixed quali that might shake up a usually predictable race.
Fuck is Perez ever a pylon.
Qualifying might be mixed but race will still be predictable haha. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Monaco though is always boring unless there’s a crash out frontThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Maybe old crashy max will make a return, would be crazy if Oscar could pull off a win. He’s been terrible with tires compared to lando in Monaco it shouldn’t matter as much.
Oscar, lando, Carlos. That’s my top 3.

His string of 2nd places has run out now that McLaren have found some pace.
Lewis said he doesn't anticipate being ahead of George in qualifying this year in the post qualifying interview.
Looks like he's already on the outside looking in at Mercedes.

I've given up Merc/Ham hope for this season already so I am rooting for whoever the fuck can keep clowntappen from winning. Hopefully it's Leclerc, but I will take Piastri or anyone else for that matter. Dunno what's going on with Perez, but RBR should be looking to bring on Sainz or Tsunoda next year.
I honestly don't understand the hate on Verstappen... I am not a fanboy, but I don't dislike him. He always seems reasonable and drama free, gives others credit where credit is due and is far less a whiner when things don't go his way versus what I see a lot of other drivers to be. I am happy to see the RedBull team get reeled in some but that isn't a hate. Just more fun to watch.
the hate is weird to me...
You have to rewind back to the 2020 season which escalated insanely in the 2021 season, where RBR and Max was doing everything to stop Mercedes, including driving like shit, and twisting the narrative to make it seem like Mercedes/Lewis was in the wrong. It worked well for public perception as there were a lot of Netflix fans that just started following the sport, not understanding the rules, and RBR/Max won the social media battle. People believed they were in the right, when they were just a bunch of argumentative douchebags for absolutely everything they did in the right or wrong. It made things extremely toxic for anyone following the sport. I literally stopped posting on F1 forums that year. What was once great places to chat with others about strategy, calls became a toxic wasteland of max fans against lewis fans. It was like what happened with US politics. I blame all this on RBR/Max.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Of course since then, RBR has become dominant, Max is clearly showing he actually is the best drivers in the field today, so they've completely removed the toxicity. Still can't talk F1 other than here, but even here we still see remnants of Max vs Lewis stupidity.

Interesting... I see parallels to other sports and fans obviously have long memories. I drifted away post Senna days and went a lot of years without watching F1 and missed all this before recently getting back into it and don't carry that baggage I guess so I am not invested in any of the previous antics, but I will say drama is always a driving force in what keeps people interested in sport in general so it is really no surprise. I just don't really care so much about that anymore as much as just wanting to watch as an observer to see how it all plays out in front of me rather than letting it become me if that makes sense. I prefer to have no real skin in the game other than to just watch and consider tactic on and away from the track on all fronts with all the various teams. I find it quite fascinating overall actually rather than taking sides. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I forgot there was a race lol
Parade laps ftw?
PIA P2 great work
Basically a procession after the red flag. Exactly what I'd expect out of Monaco.

Yeah other than the first lap crashes it was pretty much a follow the leader day... They should come out with some new regs to force more strategy and opportunity for races like this.
Why. It’s probably the most profitable race of the year.
