Yes that is what I am worried about. Remember all the shots of Newey looking at W14 with Zero Pod and taking notes on the grid. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
New report states that by Japan RBR will introduce the Zero Pod car. Paging Mike Elliot.

However if that is the case this would have been a slam dunk case isn't it?
Why it is dragging on so much. Personally I think this is a power struggle with very gray material
My guess is that it’s not true and they’re to cross-examine evidence

Following up, Sauber is indeed running pullrod rear suspension despite the SF PU.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Saw this nice summary. Interesting that Sauber went fully the opposite of Fer/Haas.
I know it's just pre-season testing but RBR almost a second ahead of the Ferrari and Merc continuing to sandbag 3 years in a row at almost 2 seconds slower.
FML...can't deal with another season like the last one.

Only thing that gives me a glimmer of home is most of the other cars changed a lot in the off season so maybe they'll take longer than 1 session to dial in and see their gains. RB is fairly similar in concept and just minor tweaks so they are probably quicker to find the proper window for their setup.
RBR is similar in Concept? That is news to me.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
W15's magic bullet is the new front wing and it is not worth 1 Sec.
Welp, season is over. See you guys in 2025.
One Team dominating is what F1 is about in the last 20 years. The years that it's more competitive are the outliners.
One team has never dominated in the manner RBR dominated last year winning every single race but one. So I am not sure why you feel the 20 prior years have all been the same as last year.
Sure, overall one team generally is stronger and that's just how the sport works, but it still makes for an interesting season to watch as typically there is more than 1 person trying to win a particular race. But if it is another season like last, that means no one stands a fucking chance.

Yea not sure I'd say RBR is similar in concept. The reports I read said they have dramatically changed the car because they assumed others would be catching up to their old design. So Newey cooked up some new shit. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Man that guy is a genius, rubbing it on everyone else's faces showing he can dominate with more than 1 creation of his on everyone else. So basically Max will have 5 championships by the end of 2025 at this rate and 2026 is perhaps a bit of glimmer of hope with the new rules kicking in.

That car was so dominant it should've won every race if it wasn't for backmarker taking it out. The mp4/4 win percentage was beaten by the RBR last year, but I can tell you that it was way more dominant than what we saw with RBR. Helps that it had Senna and Prost behind the wheel.

MB 2016 - 19/21 wins
MB 2014 - 16/19 wins

Ferrari 2002 - 14/17 wins
Ferrari 2004 15/18 wins
It's not an outliner that one team can be miles ahead of the field.
I only realized my appreciation of Rosberg after he retired. 2014-2016 would have been so boring without him.
Wasn't that over 20 years ago? lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Well, technically none of those examples have as much of a win percentage as RBR had last year, or even the exact same ratio of wins like last year which was literally all the races but one. And also, in none of those years it was one driver literally winning all the races for the most part. 19 wins for one guy alone in one season is insane. My memory isn't great, but did Hamilton or Schumacher ever did that in their dominant cars? Of course can't go too far from that since there were fewer races.
My point is there is 'domination' which we all know happens in this sport to an extent all the time, and then there is 'obliteration', which is what RBR did last year and they seem to be on track to do the same this year. If talking statistical facts is being 'delusional' by your definition, so be it...brah.

We're just arguing if it's raining or it's pouring. It's wet regardless.

Friendly reminder that there were 8 race winners across 6 teams in last year's 20-race MotoGP season.
