Great race, just amazing happenings from start to finish. That Hulk near-miss on Tsunoda was scary as hell, he was saying he thought for sure they were going to collide and braced for impact. Gutted for Albon, nothing he could have done to avoid Sainz.

I enjoyed seeing villenueve on the broadcast, he is very opinionated in his approach to commentary, right or wrong he’s refreshing to see on tv. Almost the exact same Rosberg did early this year.
Saw a clip of him basically trashing DR's entire career. Was pretty entertaining.

Only a 3 grid place penalty for Perez driving back to the pits with all that damage. The team order was given to protect Max, since they were vulnerable to a safety car. Not harsh enough.

He went back as far as the Vettel RB days, so maybe 10 years? But yes, fair point.

6 years then. His last season with RBR was 2018.

Great race. It's nice to see Merc in the fight finally. How long will it last though? Love seeing the different tire strategies at the beginning. Haas storming the field on wets was awesome to watch. The race would have been alot better for me if Ferrari didn't screw my fantasy team. My main is LEC with DRS Boost and Ferrari as one of my constructors . Once they put Hards on LEC, I knew I was done haha.

I feel like the rain was the equalizer and Mercedes might just be a one-trick pony but always like to be proven wrong.

Doubt they’ve fixed their hot weather performance. Reason why Hamilton was so excited was because it was cool and wet forecast all weekend.

McLaren, OTOH seems to work well everywhere. But that’ll only last till RBR sorts out their latest upgrade.

When you mentioned the Ferrari vs. Merc differences, it made sense (thanks btw!)

But yeah, McLaren is just ripping it! Nice to see the changes are working well for them.

Forgot to ask: would you have an idea why the Merc works better in cooler weather vs. Ferrari in hotter weather? Is it the way air goes through the PU? Or all aero?
