I love that Williams and AM as Merc customer teams are often performing better than Merc
    Are they ?
Standings and Points accumulated tells a very different picture.
I am happy to see Williams are doing better.
Baku was a roll of the dice race. Number of usual suspects were out of place and then the accident gave teams a bonus.

Fuck Sainz, I have a Ferrari Hat with his number on it that I'll never wear again. What complete and utter shitbag. I expect that nonsense from NASCAR drivers but not in F1. Not even Stroll would pull that nonsense. Glad to see he's going to a team that will never come close to getting on the podium again. See you never Sainz.

Why are you pissed at Sainz? He was in front, drove on the racing line (no different than his other laps) and did not make any erratic steering inputs. If anything Perez was the one who could have avoided this as he had better vision of what was going on. But calling it a racing incident by the stewards was a reasonable decision for a change.

I mean, as an RBR fan, was that not Perez that caused it? Didn't he basically pit Sainz?

Lol whoever blames Sainz for it has a Perez/RBR beer goggles on. This was not his fault at all. He was well ahead, he had every right to move on the racing line. The fact that Perez was watching it and had shit tons of room to the left but decided to keep going straight instead showed how oblivious he fucking really is. And I like the guy.

Williams got 7th and 8th!!! Whoooaa we back in the game boys!
Williams scored the same 10 points as RBR thanks to Perez. Good outlook for Sainz next year.

This is the best take/meme on the crash I've seen: https://www.reddit.com/r/formuladank...unpredictably/

I will come clean, my buddy and I always bet on who will come second and third in the constructors for every race and I had RBR coming second and he had Ferrari 2 and Mercedes 3 so he got the win.

Hugely entertaining race, Piastri's defense against Leclerc was outstanding. Sainz/Perez wipeout was unbelievable, Sainz was on the racing line and they just sorta drifted into each other. Great races from Bearman and Colapinto!

“We traced the development history back and it turned out that the first mistake we made was with an underbody upgrade in 2023 in Barcelona,” said Horner. “That was also the grand prix from which Checo started having problems with the car. We just didn’t take it so seriously because Max kept winning.”

On a different note, looking for 'Lewis Hamilton Abu Dhabi 2020 Mini Bell Helmet Replica' ? It is now back in stock at Merc store.

Just saw a ad for Lewis’s collector hats from Mercedes. Thought dam that would be cool to have, it’s 5 hats. Said to myself $250 and I’m in. They are $105 a piece, guess I’m not getting them.

Verstappen was responding to a question about his disappointing result in last week’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix, in which he replied: “as soon as I went into qualifying, I knew the car was fucked.” The moderator reminded Verstappen not to swear, which the driver took issue with later in the session.
