We’re with Wellington Altus, if you have over a milly the management fee drops to 1%

15.5% - 16.5% depending on which account I look at. One of them has a little more US exposure than the others.
I generally follow the Canadian Couch Potato mindset but I'm finding it harder and harder to justify a heavy international exposure. American "commoners" seem to just dump everything in the S&P and forget international stuff, does anyone here do that?

~13% with Wealthsimple. Just long-term stuff.
Just Amazon so far.
15-17% across the acccounts, makes up for the horror that was 2022.
CRA notes for 2024:
They recinded the bare trust reporting on the last day. It would have been a $25 fine every day for 100 days for non-compliance. Probably would have caught half a million Canadians including me - twice. Joint account with parents? Thats a bare trust. Land title with parents? Bare trust. They may make it mandatory next year (potential $2,500 fine next year)
To make it even more confusing for people, trusts have to be declared by March 30th and not April 30th.
You must pay electronically for any amounts over $10,000 owed, or you will be subject to penalty.

The rules are getting insane.
