If he isn't very astute and intelligent in their discourse she'll use it to discredit the entire thing. I wouldn't accept her offer for a private meeting, a public forum would be far better if managed properly.

Yeah she was a bit smart about this actually... He refuses and she can trumpet how she reached out and he is unwilling to communicate and he accepts and she twists it to her favour that he is unreasonable or whatever. I personally would take the meeting and stay on key points about her obvious failures and not be drawn into arguments about anything else, but if he is not capable of staying on point then he is better to decline politely stating his actions are speaking clearly enough. I just don't know enough about this guy to comment on his capabilities.
