It's too bad Counceller Sean Chu isn't a viable candidate for mayor.

    If he wasn't male/chinese he might've stood a chance.
I think it's way harder to overcome the alleged pedo claim. He barely survived the gerrymandering of Ward 4.

So I heard this is now funded by people outside of Calgary?
I heard from my sister's, friends, husband's, cousin who has one leg that this is funded by Trump.
    Fucking Trump.

It was clearly posted, and widely supported in the comments, on another platform that if you don't support Palestine you are a Nazi. We officially live in a world where being pro JEWISH makes you a Nazi. You can't even make this shit up anymore.

True that, tough one to bounce back from disproven or otherwise. The accusation will always stick in voter's minds.

I really admire Sean Chu's straight forward, no bs attitude. He has the makings of a solid mayor imo.

A former cop as the mayor of what is turning into Gotham city? Sign me up. Virtue signaling voters be damned.

Had someone come to my door looking for signatures for this. Signed it.

They came to my house last night. My son answered the door as I was not available. He didn't sign.

Legit question, because I have no idea, but aren't lists of email addresses incredibly affordable? Like $100 for tens of thousands?
Depends what you want an e-mail list for. If you're just running ads or scams, tens of thousands of random e-mail addresses is probably fine.

If you want to target certain people with a self-selected e-mail list from a certain area, it becomes more valuable. So say if you were expecting the province to push political parties into municipal politics, or you were wanting information for a PAC and you wanted an e-mail list that skews a certain way so you can send targeted ads for donations, newsletters, etc. This is a good way to get that, and it costs basically nothing.

“I don’t think that many citizens in Calgary just know how many people are actually behind the city itself and how many people are committed to making their lives better on the daily. I think that probably surprised me, the size of the operation.”
Yes Spencer, those are both problems with the city.

I mean, based on the cities terrible performance of its base duties, it is absolutely surprising how many people are working for them.

On the contrary, the interview the student provided was so far up Jyoti's asshole I'm pretty sure she's his idol.
