World Superbike - Grand Ridge Brewery Australian Round, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit

The 2024 racing season starts this weekend with World Superbikes at Phillip Island. Last year was dominated by Alvaro Bautista, with Toprak Razgatlioglu being the only one who could consistently challenge. New rules meant to improve the competitiveness across all manufacturers should make for closer battles during races and for the championship. Many riders have changed teams this year as well, including Razgatlioglu and six-time champion Jonathan Rea, and rookies in Nicolo Bulega, Sam Lowes and Andrea Iannone.
