By and large, GM vehicles have been good to me and have stood up to lots of abusive driving. Ford leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Dodge/Ram seems to have redeemed themselves to a large degree minus the issues with Hemis and dealing with their service managers denying warranty.

Nah too poor for that unfortunately

Which dealer(s) are ideal to check out the brands? All I know are CMP Chevrolet and that Dodge dealership near T&T.

My dad gets Ford as his service vehicles and hates them so leaves a personal bad taste for me.

He did love his GMC pickup though.

New Explorers are pretty nice units. Big interior, lots of pickup (if you get the 3.0), nice looks.

I'd definitely be checking one out based on the cars you outlined. Those Chevy's might be cheaper though.

The 2025 Explorer looks handsome though with the new interior.

Went to the car show today and I don’t get the value proposition for some of them. Why would you buy a Yukon Denali over an LR or Lexus?

Best interior in American lineup is the new Jeep or a Tahoe because it’s a cheaper Yukon lol s

The rest are meh; KIA was super nice

You buy a Yukon/suburban/tahoe if you tow. They’re mid-size (full size?) truck platforms. LR and Lexus are not, and while they could tow, they won’t do it as well.

The new Lexus truck platform is actually a towing stud apparently.

The new GX’s just got re rated by SAE to over 9k lb and TFL Truck was raving about it.

LR is pretty capable but I don’t think they do well toward the upper end of their capacity because you aren’t supposed to use a WD hitch on a unibody truck.
