It’s what they call swinging these days. Letting other guys bone your wife, etc.
I thought that was more the Trackhawk crowd and less the little JDM 4 banger crowd... man am I out of touch

    wasn't this OP lol

basically... if I could get a truck, as really I don't tow anything more than a small boat, I'd go with a TACO, esp the Unicorn 6 speed with the 4.5 box, but with 3 kids and 2 dogs now I want something that isn't a conventional 1/2 ton 7 seater.

There are many crossovers/SUVs out there, and I may just end up buying my brothers low KM 12' MDX, but I also have found an affinity to those utilitarian vehicles (MPVs) or Wagons like an Outback, older highlander, etc.. Kinda thought that the Odyssey RB2 would be a good option, as it comes in AWD and a more stout motor than say a Mazda5

Seats 7 (this one has the rear row pulled), reliable, great awd system for snow, very “lifestyle,” many of them available, wireless carplay can be added for about $500, 13+ model have heated and cooled seats on front and second row, etc.

They do group buys a couple times a year on various forums, poke the sales team about a specific model and this drops to about $400 usd (going off memory here, my bad, about $540ish on current exchange rate) depending on the offer and they do ship usps upon request.

Drove a RB2, and I do like it, though RHD is going to take a bit of getting used to. The Odysseys have lots of glass on the vehicle, basically no blind spots, which helps alot and the drivability, comfort and practicality is on point. Its pretty amazing to see how much future forward Honda was in the mid-2Ks compared to domestic vehicles of the time (i.e. interior of GMs, Jeeps, Dodges). Even if you compare a 2nd gen 2007 MDX to anything equivalent at the time.

The only thing is... IS which 'Engine' is in the one I'm looking at, that is tough to confirm.

    https://www.car.info/en-se/honda/ody...b1-rb2-6356500

    RB2 - AWD, non-absolute, its not clear if its a K24 with 161hp or 190hp (HO)

The absolutes as I understand are the 190-207HP varient, and I thought every other was the lower HP one. Anyone here recommend who I can talk to?

For anyone who wants to know, the 'Absolute' variant of the odysseys are a HO version of the K24A w/ about 207hp, which makes the 'absolute' van with AWD a pretty OK get arounder.

I still haven't bought one yet, I think IF I do, I'd go and get something through b-pro.

Other things on the table are: AWD Sienna, Ford Flex/Explorer (but the duratec waterpump/ecoboost timing chain are issues) and then a normal minivan like a Odyssey

207 naturally aspirated horsepower would be a great number for a FWD hot hatch from 20 years ago.

207 naturally aspirated horsepower for a vehicle you plan to put thousands of pounds of people and equipment into is not going to be "pretty OK", it'll be dreadfully underpowered.

Google images says lifestyle is a lot of outdoor yoga and jogging. I didn't see any Dodge vans converted to racecars. I did see this, which would turn me off of BMWs for a while:

Saw a lifted Sienna at Costco on the weekend, very lifestyle-esque.

After discussing "Trackhawk lifestyle" with a Trackhawk owner I think I'm missinformed and OP's minivan "lifestyle" doesn't have anything to do with their cuckolding, dogging, hotwifing or other socially preceived deviant acts. For people like me that had no idea what "lifestyle mover" meant I think it is just a stupid way to say I'm outdoorsy and need something bigger than a subaru
