I watched this super bowl game with my family. It's the first NFL game I ever wasted my life on. It was fun, but I probably won't do it again. What's the point really? My music tastes are far, far removed from anything close to that genre but Taylor Swift is cool, I don't get the hate. I find it amusing. Same with watching Thugco deteriorate over the last 3 years. #thoughtsandprayers for them both.

As for Taylor, I don't know what got TPIM's jimmies so rustled, but I can relate. I've gone ona few rants over the years. Don't think you can argue with the commercial success, and also don't think middle aged engineers in Calgary are a demographic her team cares about.

I don't mind her music, and even go so far as I enjoy some of her older stuff. She had some bangers with older stuff, her peak for me was 1989 and Reputation, not really into the albums as much after that. She's an underrated guitarist, which is probably why I started listening to her stuff in the first place.

That said, sure she's generous, but I feel like she's doing it more to convince people she's a good person, while underneath she's the real snake, creates drama and underhands people she doesn't like, and holds a grudge for a long ass time and create narratives for her insanely huge fanbase to attack people she doesn't like without her having to directly do it. Maybe I'm biased, because I'm a John Mayer fan as well as a Katy Perry fan, but Katy Perry's downfall could be partially attributed to the beef she had with Taylor. I don't think Taylor Swift is a good person to people outside of her circle, and if you're on her bad side, she'll find creative ways to fuck you indirectly.
