    Default Icon Rocklear experiance?

Does anyone have an feedback or experience with Icon Rocklear?

Tap and shine is charging $2,500 minus a $500 off promo for their first 80 customers. I am told that Gyeon and XPEL would run me about $900-$1,200 but that I would likely need to add some stage 1 or 2 paint correction as I have some swirling on my hood which I don't need to correct if I go the Rocklear route as it removes scratches and swirls.

I did go through this thread below and most posts recommend Refine as a good ceramic coating shop. Are there any other shops that I should look at to make my car as shiny as possible and to correct the swirling on my hood without breaking the bank?

Icon Rocklear will not prevent rock chips for us here in Calgary at all. Icon is really hand applied clear coat that they claim to be "harder"

PPF doesn’t need paint (clear coat) correction prior to application. It acts as a new clear coat once applied and completely hides clear coat imperfections such as swirls.

Interesting. I don't recall hearing of this before, but I've noticed this ramping up on CrackBook ad's recently and snapped a screen pic to see what others thought about this wildly too-good-to-be-true thing. I have almost 1 million sures that this doesn't work as advertised.

Icon Rocklear sounds like a scam based on my quick research when I was looking a few months ago. Most people who support it seem to be selling.
