Default Oil fouled or too much fuel.

2011 Polaris 850xp quad. Had issues with pcv throwing oil into the airbox. Did the fix on it with their kit. Changed plugs. Went out riding for say 50km. Hard to cold start. Finally it’s running but it’s a bitch to start. Pulled the plugs and they’re both like this. Is suspect there’s oil in the air tube still because I was too lazy to flush. Let me know.

    Also, I fucking hate Polaris.

Hmmmm... Oil fouled are usually a bit oily while carbon fouled are dry. That looks more dry to me.
Yet, I still suspect your problem is residual oil from the previous issues.

I’m going with oil. The top of the ground appears to be “dried” as if it’s been cleaned from oil via heat through the ground.

Also it’s efi and it’s never had fuel issues in the past. I’ll strip it down in the spring and clean it.

Yeah, it's foolish to introduce new variables without eliminating the more likely variable.

Burning oil will leave ash build up on the plug. Rich mixture will just make it black. You have too much fuel, or not enough air, or the plug/cylinder is not getting hot enough for the plug to reach self cleaning temperature.
