My guess is early 2010s. Facebook started gaining steam in 2008. groups started a short while later and all but the hard code gave up forums for facebook groups.

I would go with this...coincides with the downturn on my own car forum

Single make/model forums really thrived for a bit towards the start of the facebook group stuff but the general "cruising" related forums died for all but the most card-hore of us

I'm going to say 2008, with The Claw. It attracted a LOT of people here before FB got big.

These days if something similar happened, everyone would just screenshot it, add stupid crying smilie emoji's, and post it to TikTok with that stupid voice narrating what happened, and Beyond itself would barely get traffic for it.

End of this year and I'm a 20 year member. - we should get custom user titles for the loyalty btw lolol. Forum def isn't what it used to be that's for sure, but still better than some other forums and at least Beyond has outlasted 780 Tuners. I obviously still enjoy it here though....
