Yessssss. That company makes some really nice shit.

Personally, I'm going to try to avoid clothing so I don't have the headache of dealing with sizes. But that's just because I'm lazy efficient.
Probably get some yeti-type coffee cups and one nice bag and let the customer pick which they like best. Or two types of bags.
Forgot about my Stormtech winter jacket but that was from a Tire Distributor not my work. Cant afford AMG clothing

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Well placed logos is a huge bonus... received a bunch of golf shirts, but my favorite was not only because of the shirt, but the logo was also placed around the beltline, so not super in your face like many others. I get more use with subtley placed logos...although I see the flip side that the log isn super prominet for advertising.
the ones that are subtle probably get worn 100x vs the ones that look like a nascar sponsorship. Therefore, more impressions to the person who you gave it to?

Gotta be mindful of their corporate policy on accepting gifts. I got a nice swiss army knife from a machine shop back in the day, and it was useful enough to keep in my desk at work for a long time.

Also got a big bag of locally made beef jerky once, which was awesome for those of us still in the office over the holidays. A few guys had theirs sit on their desks over the break and since the guy apparently stapled his business card through the packaging, they were mouldy in january. lol.

The most memorable thing that I have ever given away and always get asked for every summer is the Costco camping chair with table. I do it every 3 years as its very expensive and a royal PAIN to pull off due to the size and weight of the boxes. I will go to 3 Costco's in the spring and I buy out their entire floor stock of chairs which is usually 40-60 per store and then drive them down to a company to get a heat press logo on.
    That sounds good too.

Some people mentioned branded Arcterx and Lulu. Damn, I'd totally wear those even if they had company logos.
We used to give Arcteryx jackets to our employees but they got a bit crazy as of late. Recently, we switched to Lulu

Being blown, by a Client, on chargeable time would be a hat trick that anyone should brag about.

I work with a few cycling enthusiasts, so I get suggestions outside of my normal bubble. One I really like is jackets from "Dixon flannel Co."
This thing would look nice with a subtle logo.

I think Dixon gear is really nice and good quality. Can't go wrong there. Plus they supply the shirts for Red Green
