Tumi backpack and a Yeti mug for what I've been given.

For the swag I order for customers, usually golf balls, golf shirts and mugs. I've made a big push this year to order less stuff but better quality. Nobody keeps a crappy mug with a logo on it. They will keep a good quality mug. Sure , they cost 4 times a much as the cheap ones, but we now just order less stuff and be more selective on who we give it out to. Still hand out the Weatherford spice as we get a lot of requests for it

A buddy of mine was sent to the Barcelona GP for a work thing. Chopper from hotel to the track, the full VIP experience. That sounded pretty decent.

On-topic, I like the idea of nice bags. Get an office laptop type and a field duffle type and let people pick, or give both to the important guys.
The bags have to be decent, though. I got one from Shell one time and the zipper came off on the first zip still in my office. Horrendous trash.

Yeah twice when I was a kid my dad got very spicy tickets to the Canadian GP from a vendor, one of those times he met Stirling Moss and was able to take photos at track level through the fence too.

Backpacks, duffels, laptop bags. I see those over and over again. I used my PD duffel for years.

The most memorable thing that I have ever given away and always get asked for every summer is the Costco camping chair with table. I do it every 3 years as its very expensive and a royal PAIN to pull off due to the size and weight of the boxes. I will go to 3 Costco's in the spring and I buy out their entire floor stock of chairs which is usually 40-60 per store and then drive them down to a company to get a heat press logo on.

For downtown every spring I also give a "fun" golf shirt from Bad Birdie or Swannies and a box of golf balls and all of my clients love them. Btw a lot of these pricey / trendy golf shirt companies give massive discounts if you call corporate directly and ask them to give you a deal on 100+ shirts. For example on the shirt that I am giving away this spring my usual golf course offered it to me $75 with logo and me calling corporate directly got the price down to $40 and $44 with logo. Which is around what you would pay for those crappy promo company brands.

I got a massive army green duffle bag in 2019 I still use for work today. Lots of hoodies an Ogio backpack and a soft shell jacket rounds out the best stuff I've gotten. Lots of Yeti stuff.

Everyone has 80 yeti's at this point. So better make your yeti's somehow better than all the rest we all have sitting in our cupboards.

Metal water bottle. It was more so the design of it. I can hook it to the outside of my backpack. I have used it loads on my travels.

I know it might not be on brand, but people seem to be freaking out about these things. Find a way to make them relevant...

Some people mentioned branded Arcterx and Lulu. Damn, I'd totally wear those even if they had company logos.

I was given a lightly-branded Roots hooded spring jacket years ago that's still one of my favourite fits. Haven't received much swag otherwise!

Yessssss. That company makes some really nice shit.

Personally, I'm going to try to avoid clothing so I don't have the headache of dealing with sizes. But that's just because I'm lazy efficient.
Probably get some yeti-type coffee cups and one nice bag and let the customer pick which they like best. Or two types of bags.

Well placed logos is a huge bonus... received a bunch of golf shirts, but my favorite was not only because of the shirt, but the logo was also placed around the beltline, so not super in your face like many others. I get more use with subtley placed logos...although I see the flip side that the log isn super prominet for advertising.

I've had a couple where it the service company AND the customer logos were on the item. Had that a couple times at Devon, where they Devon logo was big and prominent, and the service company logo was more subtle. It sparked a lot of discussion, and you never looked out of place wearing it.

For golf shirts, sleeve logos are great, back yoke too, chest logos are more tacky.

Golf shirt sleeve logos are great. Especially when stitched in a subtle color.

    Same goes for hats
