Star cache instead of ring cache (better latency)

Not as crazy an upgrade as 386 to 486dx, but if rumors are true this will be the one to get.

The not X3D parts are underwhelming, but the 9800X3D is the goat. Intel can't even get a stable system, not many reviews because if they can't say something nice...

668 fps in Counterstrike, haha.
