    Default 2024 Cheap Beer thread

It's almost camping season, and some of you degenerates like to sit in the woods with cheaper beers. I don't judge, I will even join ya. Cheap beer also goes well with yardwork, and pretending to clean out the garage.

Rules continue to be under $2/can. Bonus points for strong beers or beers that taste good, or are close to $1/can.

I'll start with what I think is the least offensive strong cheap beer, Clear Creek Ice. A favorite for nearly 20 years.
15 cans for $19 at my local independent shop, and that doesn't appear to be a sale. Can't afford not to.

Rolling rock is the weirdest tasting beer, and it's oddly addictive.

    Original 16 Copper...

    My go to these days.

A beer store in my area has it for around 30$ for a 15 pack.

$17.99 for a 15 pack of Labatt Blue at Sobeys/Safeway this week. It is relatively inoffensive… crisp, a bit malty and pairs well with wearing sweatpants in public.

Clear Creek Ice is $16 for a 15 pack at Alberta Liquor by MRU, haven't pulled the trigger...yet.

I find Rolling Rock tastes like 'almond beer', very unique and enjoyable.

1 out of every 24 Rolling Rock beers taste like someone poured in 2oz of water that was used to boil chicken.
And for that reason, I'm out.

I fell out with AGD when they got rid of the poptops

Don't think I've tried the 'light' before

I brought about 90 cans of PBR back from Montana last time, i think after conversion it worked out to $1.11CAD per can
