Do people still buy these? I have a mint one that I bought before the kids were born, and used for maybe a year before I put it away.

The under-desk wyze cam probably has better resolution than that thing?
Although Handy-cam might be a selling feature if sold to extraSlOw's art room
There's a special low price for the art room, but the splash guard has to be bought separately.
the real answer is no... i have one as well...
Considering the camera in your pocket is probably as good or better than that camera, unfortunate but just recycle it.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you just tossed it up on Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace and sold it for the price of beer money. There's a bit of a market for early 2000's point and shoot cameras now cause some kids are enjoying using those over their phones, despite the quality being much worse. You might luck out and sell this for the same reason.
FYI, put it up on Kijiji last night for $50, and it's already been picked up today.
Maybe I should've asked more, but either way it's $50 in my pocket instead of nothing, so I'm happy with that.
man o man wish i knew you were actually selling
thread derail lol

It sounds like you might be thinking of the movie "15 Minutes." Released in 2001, it features a plot where two Eastern European criminals, played by Karel Roden and Oleg Taktarov, come to New York City and begin committing crimes, including murder, while recording their deeds on video. They try to sell the footage to a tabloid TV show, exploiting the media's thirst for sensational stories. The film explores themes of fame, media violence, and justice. Is that the movie you were thinking of?
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Oh dang haha that’s it !
