Default Last minute suit rentals - funeral

So long story short, I lost a bunch of weight over the last couple years but I never bought a new suit, much less something appropriate for a funeral.

Is there a place that will lend me a suit for a funeral that doesn't require alot of fitting, alterations like that of wedding arrangements. Just something quick and dirty for a few hours. Thanks in advance.

why not just get a new pair of dress pants and shirt? Then you have them to use as well?

This is the way. Probably almost as cheap. Just go to winners or something.

Yeah I'd just go to a cheap store and buy one, probably the same cost or less than dealing with a rental place. Or even hit Value village and they typically have some formal wear section you could find something for cheap since it's a one off need.

Man these days you see people in shorts and a hat at funerals which is fucking ridiculous, I don't care who you are, but a suit...never. nice pants, nice shirt and nice shoes that you can wear at any other given date.

I have a relative who showed up to his sisters funeral in a track suit, no joke. I was there in a sportcoat and tie. Dark and respectful clothing is really all that's required. If you don't own a suit, I don't think anyone is going to look down on you for not wearing one. Or if they do, fuck em.

You can get dark dress pants, shirt and tie, and a dark sport coat without needing alterations if you want. It'll look nice and be something you can re-use. (or return the sport coat after is an option too).

I do have suits, but non fit properly anymore. I lost about 40lbs since the pandy and never bought a new suit. I will go with the nice shirt and pants instead. Thanks for the advice.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
