I think it uses the sensors to average out the temps

I got a car seat for my kid lol
Yeah this is what i did. Bought 2 actually, one for each car, as our baby is outgrowing her uppababy seat. I am sure the seat (graco 4 in 1 - recommended by many Beyonders) goes on sale at Canadian Tire for the same price at random times of the year. Still paid more than I did pre/mid covid for the same seat RIP.

Edit:Actually I just checked the previous prices I paid for the seat.
    279 in 2020.
    349 in 2022.
    349 now.

    Not bad I guess.

    Ordered a Samsung S9 fe 6/128 for $349.99.

Sure its not an ultra, but the ultra is also 14.6 inches. What up with Samsung and big tablets nowadays?

The original s9 as a phone sure, but they just released the tab fe and ultra. I don't think anyone really likes the inconsistent branding.

Still, the screen should be quite a bit better than the a9+. IP68 water rating is a huge + for me.

Fearful of next entry level Ipad being 3 of 4 GB ram with 64GB, processor speed is only one small factor. Even Pokemon GO is has crippled visuals on a 3GB ram Ipad.

BTW: Insanely annoying they made three versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020, 2022, and new 2024.

I don't think the Ecobee is a "2 way communicating" thermostat so it's can't control zoned ducting can it? I need to replace the 12 year old thermostat on my Carrier Infinity system. I have read that the Ecobee won't work and I need to stick with the overpriced Carrier product in order to control the motors that control the vents for the ducts

I don't, but as was mentioned, you can pick and choose what sensors it uses, or average them. So without specific zones, it will perform it's action (heating/cooling) of the whole place until whatever sensor you're using reaches the target.

So basically after adding my 2 remote sensors (one in the main room and one upstairs), I've disabled the sensor in the main ecobee in the hallway, and for now I've also disabled the upstairs one which I'm just using for monitoring. So now I'm just using the remote sensor in the main room to control the whole house.

As I see how the temps fluctuate and get some experience I'll maybe change the settings to switch to the upstairs sensor overnight, but for now I'm happy with the whole house just getting a more accurate reading from the main floor rather than the stupid hallway.

That sounds like a good option, despite not having zoned ducts. Our fireplace is across the hall from the thermostat on the main floor and it's a PITA for the winter time when we really want to enjoy it but the whole house suffers lol.

Yeah the fireplace is another good point. We have the same problem in the winter, the thermostat is so close to the fireplace it basically shuts off heat to the whole house if the fireplace is on because the sensor is too warm. This way we can switch to the upstairs sensor and it won't be so messed up by the heat on the main floor.

There were some headphones I was watching for a Prime deal, turns out they pulled the reverse uno card and increased the price ~20%.
    So I've bought nothing.
Mannn I've been trying to pull the trigger on headphones for a while and they did the same thing, went to buy them and went up another $30. Nah lol

That said, the Bose Quietcomfort go on sale August 12th at costco for 320.

Anyone ever deal with the reschedule delivery option from Amazon??? I was supposed to got an expensive, passcode protected item today at the latest but it appears the 2 day shipping promise was bogus. I'm leaving early morning for BC until Tuesday so won't be here to accept it tomorrow if it shows.

If the price hasn't changed, probably easiest to cancel and re-order
and if you have time like I do, make sure you hop into online chat and complain about how you pay for prime but not getting prime service... they're usually good for a $10 credit on your next shipped/sold by Amz order.

They ended up saying that the delivery is delayed until Aug. 27.... which is today. lol. It ain't here and it ain't out for delivery. Still says 'shipped' on my orders page.
