So, substituting mayo for… mayo? HahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yes. If you just add shit to store bought mayo it just gets thin and runny. Was I not clear? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I don't think it runs as thin as you think. The pizza dips are even more watery imo. I think your way would taste better as it's more natural though. But more work. Mayo or kewpie mayo takes a couple min to assemble and mix. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I feel like rating pizza should be split into categories. It's like choosing a Grammy winner for music in general.
As far as pretentious, modern local pizza goes:
Azzuri
Pizza Face
Noble
APG
"Drunk-at-2am" international chains:
Domino's Brooklyn-style Pepperoni
Less pretentious, indy local faves:
Paul's
Senoire's (but just the donair pizza)
Crispy Crust
Bow Tie
But I am surprised no one has mentioned Pizza Face yet, I find that their dill pickle pizza and "Hairy-knuckle" pizza (which I think is just a meat lovers with baked onion and sesame seeds) are fantastic. Great monthly features too.

Ya pizza face is a good mention. I don’t like it more than APG or Noble. But it’s good pie.

Got caught in the marketing. Seemed intriguing. It was alright! Nothing extraordinary.
I had Seniores for the first time. I quite liked it and thought it was good value for the money. Not as good as BowTie but not as expensive either.
For you guys who like Greek style / thicker pie in the NW, Stavros hit the mark there, Dimetri's too but in Hillhurst.

Might as well go to Pizza Culture if you want to try Azzurri. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Is Azzurri even still open, every time we try to get some pizza from there they were closed this summer.
