What are the passport renewal times looking like these days? Mine doesn't expire until June so it doesn't need a rush job, but trying to time it so it gets renewed in between upcoming planned and potential trips.

Sent my passport in for a 10-year renewal Aug 1st, was charged Aug 6th on CC and still haven’t received it.

I keep hearing that you don't want to send it away, you want to walk it in to the office yourself.

approx 1 week later the old passport was returned to me
received the new passport August 21.

Was at the NW passport office a month ago. Posted the return date and it was a few weeks. No issues.

We stopped in at the office. Renewed 2 on Aug 28th. We're told they'd arrive Sept 11th. They showed up Sept 05th. Also got the kids their passports. Not a renewal and they showed up Sept 05th as well.

Did my 10 year renewal at the SE office in mid-April. Received 2nd week of May IIRC.
