Nah they've actually got a nice lighting rig set up for the indoor shots. Looks like 4 strobes with some big ol softboxes.

I saw that one, too, but not literally every panel is severely damaged to the point of a fatigued crimp or tear in the metal. The orange one could at least function as a facade wall decoration, or a desk.

Without actually looking at the listing for 243, I'd guess the value comes from there being some part of the chassis that still bears the original chassis tag and that's enough for someone to repurpose the car into a "tool room copy", ala what GTO Engineering did with their 250SWBs and Cal Spyders.

Edit: OK, I looked - "still bears some original body number stampings, body number tag, and chassis number tag and stamping"... Someone will make a replica (er, "homage") out of it, and because it has a real Ferrari serial number, it will be allowed to participate in all sorts of cool and fun events. Lots of big-time collectors will do this, as they can thrash it on a track with the added bonus of not actually risking your multi-million dollar (genuine) copy.

But they're all being auctioned "without reserve" doesn't that means someone could bid $5 and if no one else wants it, they win, or have I missed something?
